Driving and Parking in London

This section explains where a PHV may and may not drive, stop, wait and park in London, the difference between stopping to set down or pick up and waiting, Penalty Charge Notices, the Congestion Charge, the Ultra Low Emission Zone and red routes.

What you will learn

1Name the three things a PHV is never allowed to do: drive in a bus lane, use a taxi rank, or use an electric taxi charge point.

7State the one red route exception that allows you to wait for a passenger using a cashpoint.
